Castledowns was built with a British-inspired theme, with neighbourhoods named after European castles—a nod to the cultural roots of North Edmonton.
Since 1981, the Baturyn Community League has supported Baturyn, Canossa, Chambery, Elsinore, and Rapperswill—fostering connection, pride, and inclusion. Today, we embrace The Well as a symbol of unity—a place where neighbours gather, contribute, and draw strength together.
We respectfully acknowledge that we live and work on Treaty 6 territory, the traditional lands of many First Nations and Métis peoples.
