Soccer
Baturyn community soccer consists of two soccer seasons – Indoor & Outdoor.
Outdoor soccer takes place on City of Edmonton fields (weather permitting) from early May to late June, with potential post-season play into July. Teams typically play two games per week, with additional practices depending on the coach.
Indoor soccer is played on artificial turf inside soccer centers using arena-style boards and built-in goals, with a season running from mid-October to mid-February (possibly extending to March for tournaments or playoffs). Teams usually play one game per week and practice weekly or biweekly in school gyms, with schedules released just before the season begins.
For U13 and older, programs are city-wide rather than limited to the North Zone, and schedules are also released shortly before the season starts.

Coaching
We’re always looking out for enthusiastic coaches to join our community. If you have a passion for soccer and a desire to mentor young athletes, please consider signing up to coach. Training is provided if you’re new and your guidance can make a significant difference in our players’ development and enjoyment of the game!
If you’re interested, you can register yourself as a team official the same way you registered your own child, on the EMSA Portal login. If you have more questions, you can email our Soccer Director: Soccer@baturyn.ca
