Get Involved
Volunteer with Baturyn

Baturyn Community League is run by volunteers from our neighbourhood, and we’re always looking for people who want to get involved. Whether you can help occasionally or take on a larger role, every bit of support helps keep programs, events, and amenities running for our community.

Volunteering is a great way to meet neighbours, share your skills, and help make Baturyn a great place to live.

We’re currently looking to fill the following board positions, but we also welcome casual volunteers who can help with events, programs, or other activities throughout the year.

Social Director
Attends monthly board meetings, oversees league social events and activities, supports social committees, coordinates volunteers with the Volunteers Director, and prepares the annual social budget.

Rink Manager (co-Manager position may be available)
While the rink is closed for the season, we’re looking ahead to next year. This role attends monthly board meetings, coordinates rink volunteers (rink shack and ice making), supports rink events, and fundraising.

Ways and Means Director
Attends monthly board meetings, leads fundraising efforts, explores new revenue opportunities, applies for grants and bursaries, and manages grant reporting.

Castle Downs Recreation Society Representative (2 positions)
Attends both CDRS and Baturyn Community League monthly meetings, represents the League, shares updates between both groups, and reports on CDRS initiatives.
